Running a Book Club?
As an author of children’s fantasy fiction, I love nothing more than discussing books and stories especially when I have written the books, lol!
If your book club is interested in discussing the fantasy fiction genre, writing for children and YA lit, learning about the art of crafting stories for children and YA and the world of children’s/YA literature, and importantly enticing younger minds to put the gadgets down and pick up a book, then do get in touch.
As well as being an author, I am a still a part-time primary school teaching and have a special insight into what works in the classroom and how to encourage young minds to develop a lifelong love of reading. Why, we might help create a few bookworms along the way!
Running a Writing Group?
Just wanted to say a huge ‘Thank You’ for making last night a really brilliant event for the group. We really enjoyed it and found the things you told us tremendously valuable, insightful and encouraging. When I first contacted Jean Smith, she told me that you were a very inspiring speaker, and she was right. I hope we shall have the opportunity to invite you to another of our meetings in future. In the meantime, many thanks for your kind offer to let members of the group contact you on issues with their writing – and for the Indie Roadmap.Peter Loweth, Otley Bards
