For 2023/2024, I am offering 100 schools in Yorkshire an in-person author visit for FREE.
Or, if your school is outside of Yorkshire, a FREE virtual visit.
The 60 minute visit can include a snap-shot of the Character Creation Workshop – “Character Smash“.
Hi, I’m J. A. Browne, author of the environmental coming-of-age fantasy series The Earth Chronicles.
As a former teacher, I understand the importance of inspiring children and young people to read and inviting guests into your school.
So, I am offering 100 FREE AUTHOR VISITS to schools.
If you’re in Yorkshire, you can book me for an in-person visit.
If you’re elsewhere in the U.K. or worldwide, you can book a virtual visit.
The visits can include a snap-shot of Character Smash, my Fantasy Character Creation Workshop.
About The Books
The Earth Chronicles and Ffen Tales are part of the same Worlds of The Earth Chronicles series full of cross-over stories and characters, magical foxes, warrior witches, draconites and a cool Granny. And not forgetting our heroine Hannah, her best friend Alpha and their best Ffens, Watton, Freya and Thim.
The themes within the books focus on the environment, including endangered species, human-impact, family and friendships, animal companions and coming-of-age changes including grief and loss and growing up.

Virtual Visits are held using Google Meet or can be adapted to your preferred platform.
Children can pre-order or post-visit order my books direct. Orders over 10 copies include a 10% discount and come with a free bookmark.
Each paperback or hardback sold from the main series funds a tree via my partnership with Treesisters.
